Go Training Institution
Go Training Institution is a visual identity project created for a school that teaches the Chinese board game Go. The identity uses positive and negative shapes, a visual idea related to the balance found in Go culture. Line drawing in the traditional ink and brush style is combined with the gesture of playing Go. Traditional elements are joined with contemporary and youthful forms to suit children. Printed items include name cards, writing paper and teaching cards, produced with digital printing and laser engraving. The intent is to promote Chinese culture visually.
Go Training Institution Branding by Seethink has been highlighted as a creative illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Go Training Institution Branding earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design in 2020. The A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design award which celebrates outstanding design of logos, posters, infographics, brochures, packaging designs, business cards, book covers, billboards and more.
